BIG News: Tonner’s NEW Website!
The TONNERDirect Website Construction Crew...and no, they're not lemmings!
What??, you’re thinking. A new website?!? Yes, we know you’re going to want more details! Well, it’s literally being built as we speak, friends! This is a VERY exciting prospect for us, and it is something we aren’t taking lightly. This is serious business! We’ve been very comprehensive as far as outlining what we have now compared to what we want, and we can’t wait to show off the finished product!
We don’t want to give too much away, but one thing we can tell you is that it will be the new HUB for all things Tonner. From the new website you’ll be able to not only shop, but you’ll be seeing Tonner in a way we’ve never been seen before. You’ll also be able to access every lick of social media we participate in, including our blog, Facebook, our YouTube channel, and more. Much more. You’ll also have up-to-the-minute info on new arrivals, incoming arrivals, and just about anything else to keep you in-the-know. It’s also going to be an incredible archival resource, too. There will be a lil’ something for everyone, just like our dolls! We’ll keep you apprised of our progress on this, and as it looks right now, the NEW TONNERDirect may be coming to a web browser near you sometime this fall!
As we near the launch date of the NEW TONNERDirect, we’re going to celebrate the heck out of this momentous occasion! For sure, we’ll be up to our usual high jinks, and will provide a whole collection of super fun, celebratory activities for you, our dear Collect-Os, to participate in: a countdown, LOADS of giveaways and even a Launch Sale! So, friends, keep your ears to the ground for more info on the new site! Stay tuned…………

Hello there, Maggimia56! We hope it will be a huge success, and have put a lot of time and effort into deciding how to improve upon what we already have. We’ve also taken a lot of Collect-O feedback into consideration with this project, as well, so we think we may have covered all the bases. Very exciting for sure! I remember from Modern Doll Convention in a panel of doll makers open to the convention attendees….when asked by the panel what they could do to increase dolls sales and reach more people, the audience answer was use the internet. Boy, has Tonner come a long way, baby, since those stuttering days when using the internet was unthinkable. I applaud you for embracing the future in such a big way. Way to Go! I am so looking forward to seeing your new site!

Hope you will include where to find Tonner doll scale items like phones, kitchen appliances, drinking cups and glasses, plates and silverware etc.. So hard to find for me.

The website has needed upgrading for some time now, and I am glad to know it is being done. Consolidating everything to make it easier to navigate will make longtime collectors AND new customers happy!
I hope there will be an archive section, featuring the classic Tonner dolls and their history and stories, as well as showcasing the new beauties, too.
Would it be possible to request the addition to an archive of any notes Mr. Tonner has kept on the dolls he has made in the past, or is currently working on? Maybe what his inspiration was for the dolls or outfits?

We concur, an upgrade is in order! You nailed our goal when you spoke of consolidation for ease, that’s the ticket! There actually is going to be an archive section on the new site, so people may use it for a resource or reference. That’s a great suggestion to add any notes RT has kept, and to embellish with the doll stories and histories. We appreciate your feedback on this, and will definitely add that to our suggestion box.
